Why are tech docs not always available for Low Hanging Fruit solicitations, that need them?

You may find that the technical documents needed for some Low Hanging Fruit (LHF) solicitations are no longer available. This is because DLA may remove access to the technical documents approximately 30 to 45 days after the bid closing date if a contract has not yet been awarded. For this reason, it makes sense to focus first on LHF solicitations that have most recently passed their Quote Due Date. To find these, sort the **Quote Due Date** column in reverse order, with the most recent dates at the top. If you find a solicitation of interest but its technical documents are no longer available, you can try contacting the DLA buyer listed for the solicitation and ask whether the documents can be made available again. There is no guarantee that the buyer will be able to do so, but it may be worth asking.
